Healthcare Analytics Platform
Built a healthcare analytics platform from the ground up that transformed how clinical research teams access and analyze data globally.
Clinical research teams had a platform with 10-minute load times. Teams across the US, EU, and China were avoiding it entirely.
Redesigned the PostgreSQL schema from scratch. Two schemas: CRM data and scientific study data modeling dosage groups, time points, and individual animal records. Built pre-aggregated summary tables that rebuilt on data changes so dashboards stayed fast without sacrificing the normalized data model.
Interactive dashboards (Plotly.js, AG-Grid), 19-tab conditional Excel export with dynamic regional handling (US/EU vs. China), complex analytical queries for cross-study comparisons and KPI calculations.
Load times went from 10 minutes to under 1 second globally. Platform became the team's daily operational tool. Client exec said it changed how their teams and partners collaborate.
